Medical Device and Simulation Clinical and Technical Specialist


Minogue Medicals team of technical specialist nationally support innovative medical and simulation technologies. The candidate is responsible to ensure service agreements are fulfilled including product installation, preventative maintenance and repairs. The specialist will also provide technical and clinical support/education to end-users to ensure the safe use of our products. Minogue Medical Inc is proud to provide the highest quality service and ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectation.


Responsibilities


Field Service

  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment as required;
  • Perform system installations and upgrades. Including pre site verifications and assist in coordination of product delivery;
  • Perform maintenance inspections as required to ensure equipment meets performance specifications;
  • Provide back up support to national field engineering team;
  • Support sales team with demos, trade shows, presentations, and training activities
  • Become a product expert to position yourself as clinical and technical partner of medical teams;
  • Develop rapport with clinic and hospital staff and provide high quality service;
  • Act as a liaison for customers to headquarters and Sales and provide feedback to improve process efficiencies;
  • Report to the sales team potential leads and drive training activities;
  • Manage administrative tasks like field activity reports, return material authorizations, reporting of procedures, part inventories, submission of expense reports, etc.


Technical Support

  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support, documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Prioritize and categorize technical support requests for efficient resolution.
  • Generate and manage service tickets for all customer interactions.
  • Create and maintain service support documentation, including procedural, maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Minogue Medical's products, services, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify, manage, and execute special projects and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Biomedical Engineering technologist degree or Bachelor Degree in engineering (Biomedical focus is an asset);
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems;
  • A clinical foundation with knowledge of biomedical equipment and hospitals is an asset;
  • Success in introducing new medical technologies to the market is an asset;
  • Strong administrative and record keeping skills, experience working with a CRM is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, French Language Skills are an asset.
  • Full Drivers license.
  • Willing to travel up to 60%, dependent upon account distribution;
