We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Beacon Hill Villa, a 80-bed long-term care site in downtown Victoria.

As a healthcare leader, you will play a key role in coordinating and supervising the activities and duties of direct care staff, ensuring the highest quality of resident-focused care is provided.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and providing clinical direction to community care staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs;
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident autonomy and independence;
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians;
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions;
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress;
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of resident services.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution;
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN;
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification and CPR;
- Successful annual Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) competency testing;
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility an asset;
- Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently and understand verbal and written instructions;
- Computer skills including basic Microsoft Office applications.
Estimated Salary Range: $84,000 - $104,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
