We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Beacon Hill Villa, a 80-bed long term care site in downtown Victoria.
Job Description- Responsible for Resident Care: Assess residents' needs, implement and evaluate individualized resident-centered care plans, and provide direct care as necessary.
- Liaise with Other Disciplines: Collaborate with other departments and disciplines to ensure quality-focused resident care.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of resident care, including wound management and medication administration.
- Supervise Care Staff: Coordinate and supervise care staff, directing their work and assigning duties as necessary.
- Graduate of an Approved Nursing Program: Hold a current license with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN.
- Experience in Long Term Care: Previous experience in a long-term care facility is an asset.
- Certifications: Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification and CPR.
The estimated salary for this position is $83,419.00 per year, based on industry standards and location.
