We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Island Health.
Estimated Salary$83,000 - $112,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the RoleThis is a critical leadership position that requires strong clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality patient care by supervising and guiding nursing staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- To develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support safe and effective patient care.
- A current practicing RN/RPN registrant with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- A minimum of three years' recent related experience in a clinical setting, including two years' relevant leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- The ability to operate related equipment and perform the duties of the position with physical demands.
