Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Provincial Travel Nurse Team - Provincial Float Pool in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide professional nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing independent nursing services, administering prescribed medical treatments, leading the healthcare team, and facilitating patient care and discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments as required
  • Lead the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge
Requirements
  • RN/LPN- Minimum one (1) year recent work experience in the areas of medicine, surgery and/or emergency
  • Satisfactory employment record
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program or an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training
Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $41,000-$47,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
