About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our emergency nursing team. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes. Your expertise in emergency nursing will enable you to respond effectively to complex situations, making decisions that prioritize patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
- Provide independent nursing services, administering prescribed medical treatments as needed
- Lead the healthcare team, coordinating patient care and discharge plans
- Facilitate communication among healthcare professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and timely decision-making

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Current Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Recent related experience is an asset

Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of WRHA Emergency Nursing Orientation (ENO) training Level 1 within (2) months of date of hire
- Completion of remaining level 2 and 3 within (12) months of hire
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training at the Healthcare Provider level required
