About the Role

The Director of Allied Health Education and Organizational Strategy will provide leadership for the development, implementation, communication, and ongoing monitoring of the portfolio's strategic plan. This role will be responsible for leading in the development, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of clinical education for Allied Health. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in an Allied Health or related discipline and a minimum of seven to ten years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility in a complex healthcare or academic health sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement clinical education strategies to enhance patient experience and health outcomes
  • Lead the development of Allied Health education and operations policies, systems, and procedures
  • Collaborate with academic institutions to develop alternative and innovative models of delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies for recruitment and retention of allied health staff
  • Manage and monitor the annual budget for Allied Health Education and Operations

Requirements

  • Master's degree in an Allied Health or related discipline
  • Minimum of seven to ten years of leadership experience in a complex healthcare or academic health sciences environment
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
