Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Leader in Allied Health Education to join our team at Providence Health Care. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, educational strategies, and operations management.

In this position, you will provide strategic direction for the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education programs for allied health professionals. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting a culture of excellence, safety, and respect within our organization.

The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in an allied health or related discipline, with a minimum of seven to ten years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility in a complex healthcare environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical education programs, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and respect within the organization.
3. Collaborate with academic institutions, professional associations, and other external partners to develop and maintain partnerships that support clinical education initiatives.
4. Analyze industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in clinical education.
5. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve program objectives.
6. Evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and refinement.
7. Promote a culture of lifelong learning, supporting the professional growth and development of staff.
8. Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations, academia, and research institutions to advance clinical education and practice.
9. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
10. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in clinical education, applying knowledge to improve program effectiveness.

Requirements
• Master's degree in an allied health or related discipline.
• Minimum seven to ten years of experience in a leadership role in a complex healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proven track record of strategic planning, program development, and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
