Medical Officer of Health Position

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Family Physician to join our team at the RISE Community Health Centre. This position involves providing care in clinic, client's homes, and outreach settings as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing full-service family physician care, excluding obstetrics or hospital work
- Working collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners, Community Health Workers, Registered Nurses, and allied health professionals
- Developing and implementing strategies to address social determinants of health and health inequity
- Providing outreach services in community settings and in people's homes
Requirements:
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Medical indemnity coverage with Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- 2 or more years of experience working as a Family Physician in a community-based primary health care setting
- Commitment to the concepts underpinning the unique role of Community Health Centres and a desire to collaboratively contribute to our Centre's vision, mission, and values
Assets:
- Fluency in identified non-official languages based on neighbourhood demographics
- Compensation Model: Contract, non-Fee for Service
- Remuneration: $178.31/hr
