LPN Evening and Overnight Shifts

We are seeking highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional care in various long term and acute care facilities in Port Alberni.
This opportunity allows you to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely admissions, orientations, transfers, and discharges for residents.
- Manage medications and narcotics safely and securely.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Able to work with individuals with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), negative TB skin test within one year, and Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible shift times, including 8-12 hour shifts.
- Ability to float between units within a hospital.
- Reliability and compliance with RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Estimated Salary: $45-$60 per hour.
