Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role ranges from $32.84 to $41.35 per hour, with opportunities for wage leveling. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
Job Description
This full-time, fixed-term contract position involves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. As an LPN, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Ensuring the safe and secure storage of medications and narcotics.
- Creating a comfortable and supportive living environment that promotes independence, dignity, and autonomy.
- Optimizing resident potential through functional assessments and individualized care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
- Successful completion of RAI MDS certification as required by the Ministry of Health.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Work Location and Schedule
This role requires working in-person, with varying shifts including day and night rotations. You must be flexible and available to work a variety of schedules.
