Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $32.84 to $41.35 per hour, with opportunities for wage leveling. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.

Job Description

This full-time, fixed-term contract position involves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. As an LPN, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure storage of medications and narcotics.
  • Creating a comfortable and supportive living environment that promotes independence, dignity, and autonomy.
  • Optimizing resident potential through functional assessments and individualized care plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A diploma in Practical Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
  • Successful completion of RAI MDS certification as required by the Ministry of Health.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Work Location and Schedule

This role requires working in-person, with varying shifts including day and night rotations. You must be flexible and available to work a variety of schedules.
