Job Overview

HAMILTON CHILD AND FAMILY SUPPORTS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being and protection of children. We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare analysis of general ledger or payroll accounts, including compiling budget information and reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data to provide budgetary projections for various programs.

Requirements:
  • Community College Diploma in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with accounting systems (Oracle an asset).
  • Strong analytical skills and report writing ability.

Salary Range: $60,304 - $73,370 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Supervisor of Accounting, working 34 hours per week.
