Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual to join our team as a facilities cleaner at the Hamilton Institute for Health Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a clean and safe environment in our office building and school setting by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, walls, and other surfaces.
  2. Ensure all areas of the facility are well-maintained, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
  3. Operate janitorial equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers, safely and efficiently.
  4. Respond to spills and other messes promptly and effectively.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

  • $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
