Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Grocery Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zone and maintain the grocery department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure we are offering our customers the freshest products possible.
  • Verify that merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other sales-related tasks.
  • Ensure the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock as needed, while applying product protection when required.
