Job Summary:
The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly qualified academic anesthesiologist to join our team. As a faculty member, you will provide anesthetic care throughout the hospital programs, supervise and teach students, residents, and fellows, and participate in formal in-house and University teaching programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthetic care to patients in various hospital programs
- Supervise and teach students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in formal in-house and University teaching programs
- Contribute to research and academic activities
Requirements:
- Medical degree and postgraduate fellowship training in anesthesia
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Anaesthesia or international equivalent
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Proven clinical skills and evidence of demonstrated excellence in research and/or education and/or quality improvement
