Academic Pediatric Neurologist Position at the University of Toronto

At the University of Toronto, we are committed to academic excellence and innovation in medical education, research, and clinical care. Our Division of Neurology is seeking a full-time permanent staff physician with expertise in Pediatric Neurology and Neuroinflammatory conditions.
The successful candidate will hold or be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor. The effective start date will be April 1, 2025.
Job Description:This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will contribute to the care of children admitted to the general neurology service, provide inpatient consultations for neurology and neuroinflammatory services, and lead ambulatory clinics in general neurology and neuroinflammation.
You will have the opportunity to educate and supervise residents and other learners in clinical neurology and neuroinflammation. Additionally, opportunities for research support are available for applicants with an established research program.
Requirements:- Possess specialty training in Pediatric Neurology and Neuroinflammatory conditions
- Hold an MD, MBBS or equivalent degree
- Be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $227,000 and $321,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for a benefits package that includes medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, group insurance, pension plan, vision care, academic allowance, and relocation package.
