AI/ML Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to join our team at Electronic Arts. This role will lead and manage a team of Machine Learning Engineers to develop and implement AI/ML algorithms for in-game recommendation and matchmaking systems.
About the RoleThis is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. As an AI/ML Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of AI/ML strategies to enhance game performance and user experience.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Machine Learning Engineers to develop and implement AI/ML algorithms for in-game recommendation and matchmaking systems.
- Drive the development and execution of AI/ML strategies to enhance game performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with the product management team to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Research and implement new AI/ML technologies to stay ahead of market trends and maintain competitive advantage.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the field of AI/ML to the team.
- Oversee the design and deployment of machine learning models.
- Establish rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of AI/ML models.
- Work closely with other teams to integrate AI/ML strategies into broader product development.
- 6+ years of experience with 3+ years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- Experience with a leadership role within AI/ML, particularly in the gaming industry.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Electronic Arts offers a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
Estimated Salary Range$133,400 - $193,200 Annually
