Job Description

As a Conversational AI Researcher, you will play a critical role in driving the development of personalization techniques for conversational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems in personal knowledge aggregation, processing, modeling, and verification. Your expertise in deep learning, ML, and NLP will help us create scalable solutions for building personalized assistant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for conversational systems
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and scientists to identify and solve complex problems
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of algorithms and models
  • Communicate results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in CS, CE, ML, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in building models for business applications
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
  • Strong background in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, and parallel and distributed computing

Benefits

Amazon offers a competitive salary, ranging from $149,300/year to $249,300/year, based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, you may also be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
