Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of their room assignments and check-out procedures.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Guest Information: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the surrounding area.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure efficient room allocation.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as outlined by the hotel, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as required.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related role.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
