About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Resident. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your clinical skills in a tertiary care setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders. You will work closely with our experienced team of physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

This is a 14-18 month long assignment, with the possibility of a permanent position upon completion. You will have the opportunity to work in various locations throughout Nova Scotia, including the Western, Northern, and Eastern Zones.

Requirements
  • Graduation in 2024 from a Master's degree in Physiotherapy or acceptable equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Current certification in CPR
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer competency with Microsoft office suite
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $33.97 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.

Successful candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus of $5000 with a defined Return of Service contract.
