Job Title: Advanced Practice Clinical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Clinical Leader to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and evaluation of best practices in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and concurrent substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support point-of-care staff in the implementation and evaluation of best practices in clinical care
  • Lead the development of program groups and activities to support patient care
  • Engage in direct care activities for complex and high-risk clients
  • Supervise graduate students and provide clinical guidance and support
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and quality reviews focusing on patient safety
  • Collaborate with operational and other professional practice leaders to support program planning and evaluation
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related discipline
  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (or related discipline)
  • 5 years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment
  • Ability to provide professional practice leadership and challenge and motivate others
  • Commitment to enhancing academic and research endeavours
  • Experience in leading change and providing advanced clinical care in a culturally diverse environment
