Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Times Universal Victoria Holdings Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fine dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless service
  • Recruit and train staff to meet business needs
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Advise on wine selection and serve wine
  • Manage events and ensure seamless execution
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
