What is the opportunity?
As a Client Relationship Specialist, you will be a key contact for account management including post sales activities, complex contractual and plan design inquiries, and installation. You will identify cross-selling opportunities by providing superior service in assisting producers and group plan administrators by resolving problems and proactively recommending solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve client and advisor inquiries by determining appropriate action for complex issues, both internally and externally, with minimal management involvement, in addition to proactively recommending solutions and ideas when resolving problems.
- Establish relationships with producers and group plan administrators.
- Process plan changes, termination of policies, transfer of AOR, plan design changes, legal name changes, billing, etc.
- Provide client and advisor education and training on product, product information, and RBC Systems.
- Maintain accurate producer contact information through SFDC.
- Take personal responsibility for maintaining awareness and acting in accordance with RBC risk management policies and procedures.
- Drive efficient process improvements consistently.
Requirements
Must-have
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
- Excellent Organization Skills.

- Account Management and Problem Resolution skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
Nice-to-have
- General Insurance knowledge.
- Product knowledge for all Group lines of business.
- Understanding of Group Insurance market.
