About the Opportunity
Baptist Housing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wellness Manager to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality care and services to our Assisted Living residents.
About the Role
As the Wellness Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the delivery of quality care and services for our Assisted Living residents at Hallmark on the Park community in Abbotsford. You will conduct pre-occupancy interviews, assess potential clients, and provide orientation for new residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain care plans for both Health Authority funded and private pay residents
- Collaborate with the clinical services team and external health professionals to support wellness programs and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and support your team, ensuring effective scheduling, performance management, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage the Assisted Living budget, track expenditures, and contribute to professional development and health and safety initiatives within the community
About You
We are looking for a candidate who embodies the values of Baptist Housing and has a proven ability to develop and deliver training programs, supervise team members, and handle interviewing, assessment, and documentation tasks efficiently. You should have a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a commitment to stewardship, innovation, and teamwork.
