About the Role

The Wellness Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of quality care and services for our Assisted Living (AL) Residents at Hallmark on the Park community in Abbotsford. This position requires coordination and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and maintain care plans for both Health Authority funded and private pay residents.

You will conduct pre-occupancy interviews, assess potential clients, and provide orientation for new residents and their families. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to build and maintain professional relationships with team members, residents, and visitors, always showing care, sensitivity, and respect.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team. You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring team members, handling interviewing, assessment, and documentation tasks efficiently, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, well-developed organizational skills, and effective time and workload management. A proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead by example is essential in this role.

Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized training program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses
  • A registered license in good standing with the BCCNM
  • Courses or certification in Gerontology
  • Courses or certifications in Business or Healthcare Administration
  • Current certification in Emergency First Aid: Community Care
  • Five years of experience in supervising and managing team member performance
  • Three years of experience within a seniors' Assisted Living community or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range of $72,000 to $90,000, depending on experience.
