Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellness Manager, Talent and Culture to join our team at AccorHotel. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Talent and Culture, this role will be responsible for managing disability claims, administering group benefit plans, and developing and implementing wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disability Management: Manage and administer disability claims related to occupational and non-occupational short-term and long-term claims and appeals.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage the benefit function, including administering the extended Group Benefit Plan, Pension, TFSA, and RRSP plans.
  • Wellness Initiatives: Develop and deploy meaningful and impactful wellness initiatives and programs for the hotel.
  • Health and Safety: Chairperson of the hotel Wellness committee and Health and Safety representative, responsible for organizing hotel Wellness initiatives and support preparation for annual COR Audits.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-year previous experience in Human Resources with experience in Group Benefit Plan administration, Disability Claims Management, and previous leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage disability claims to both occupational and non-occupational absences.
  • Human Resources or related degree/certificate completion an asset.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities and creative use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various social media platforms.
