Aerospace Engineer Role

We're seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team as a Structural Design & Airworthiness Engineer. As part of our team, you'll work on designing and certifying aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with TCCA, FAA, and EASA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop structural design documentation, including equipment installation and antenna installation plans
  • Create certification plans, structural analysis reports, damage tolerance and fatigue analysis reports, weight and balance reports
  • Liaise with Transport Canada DAR's to ensure designs meet airworthiness requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers from various technical backgrounds to incorporate airworthiness requirements into designs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 3 years of structural/mechanical design experience or 2 years of aircraft structural/mechanical design experience
  • Current standing or eligibility for registration as a EIT under EGBC
  • Fundamental understanding of structural and mechanical principles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in design, analysis, and/or certification of aircraft modifications
  • Understanding of aerospace and structural principles
  • Knowledge of TCCA, FAA, and/or EASA aerospace regulations
