We're currently seeking a skilled Structural Engineer/Building Engineer to join our clients' teams across various locations in British Columbia.

Position Overview

This role is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to take their skills to the next level. As a Structural Engineer/Building Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building structures to ensure they meet safety standards and local regulations.

About the Role
  • You will design and analyze structural components and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • You will develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and drawings that meet local building codes and safety standards.
  • You will conduct structural assessments and evaluations of existing buildings to determine their condition and compliance with current codes and regulations.
  • You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
  • You will oversee and review construction processes to ensure that structural elements are built according to specifications and standards.
  • You will provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any structural issues or challenges that arise.
  • You will prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to structural designs, evaluations, and construction activities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on experience).
