Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality cancer care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive cancer care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in medical oncology and incorporate them into practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Completion of a fellowship program in medical oncology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism principles.
