Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Vernon Clinic, part of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
- Participate in clinical, educational, and research activities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer.
- Conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
- Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
