About the JobThe Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner will be based in Mississauga and report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
The incumbent's goal in this position is to provide internal consulting and support for all Human Resources initiatives and objectives for designated divisions.
- Talent management involves developing strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent.
- Organizational effectiveness requires analyzing business needs and implementing HR initiatives to drive success.
- Employee relations involve managing employment-related legal files from initial stages to resolution.
- Administration of compensation and benefits includes developing and conducting training programs for managers and employees.
- Performance management involves ensuring that performance issues are appropriately documented and monitored.
- Learning and development require identifying business needs and creating training programs to address those needs.
- Support with talent acquisition involves working closely with hiring managers to identify and recruit top talent.
The role also acts as an advisor and business partner to management staff, providing guidance on HR matters and supporting business decisions.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working hands-on as an HR generalist or manager, serving an internal client group with a wide variety of HR matters.
- Able to speak, read, and write in both French and English.
- Experience in a role requiring you to work with co-workers or clients in French and English.
- Experience in a role requiring an understanding of P&L would be an asset.
- CHRP complete or in progress is an asset.
The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
LocationThis role is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
