The JobThe Human Resources Strategic Business Partner will be based in Mississauga and report to the Vice President of Human Resources. The incumbent's goal is to provide internal consulting and support for all Human Resources initiatives and objectives for designated divisions.
- Talent management involves developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Organizational effectiveness requires analyzing and improving processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Employee relations involve managing employee issues, including leaves, attendance, ethics points, and all other employee-related matters.
- Administration of compensation and benefits includes designing and implementing total rewards programs that align with business goals.
- Performance management requires developing and implementing performance metrics and tracking progress.
- Learning involves developing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Supporting talent acquisition means collaborating with hiring managers to identify and hire top talent.
The incumbent will also act as an advisor and business partner to management staff, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
Responsibilities- Manage employment-related legal files from initial stages to resolution in collaboration with internal and external legal counsel.
- Develop and conduct training for managers and employees on various subject matters and soft skills identified as business needs.
- Implement HR initiatives, policies, and procedures; provide guidance to employees to ensure complete alignment across all locations.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
- Ensure both business and employee needs are met while driving standardized processes into the facility.
- Experience working hands-on as an HR generalist or manager serving an internal client group with a wide variety of HR matters.
- Able to speak, read, and write in both French and English.
- Experience working with coworkers or clients in French and English.
- SAP SuccessFactors experience would be an asset.
- P&L understanding would be an asset.
