We are seeking an experienced Car Sales Representative to join our team at Okotoks GM. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will report directly to our Sales Managers and be responsible for building strong relationships with customers through vehicle sales. You must maintain current knowledge of our dealership's vehicle makes and models, ensuring you can provide expert advice to our customers. As an ambassador for the company, you will be professional, approachable, honest, and possess excellent communication skills. Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and a drive for success are essential qualities required for this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding vehicles for sale.
  • Conduct test drives of vehicles for sale, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering a loyal customer base.
  • Generate new opportunities for revenue growth through customer accounts.
  • Stay informed and compliant with federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales.
  • Work closely with the finance manager to ensure customers understand and are comfortable with the financial process.
  • Communicate effectively on how to service and maintain vehicles.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with CRM applications, such as Activix, is an asset.
  • Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • A desire to work in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A great attitude and high-energy personality.
  • The ability to obtain licensure with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council (AMVIC).
