About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at ANDRITZ AG. As a key member of our hydroelectric power project team, you will be responsible for leading the electrical installation activities on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead the installation of the electrical scope of project on site.
  • Report to the Construction Manager and lead a team of supervisors and electricians.
  • Ensure safe and cost-effective execution of electrical installation works in accordance with the project schedule and quality specifications.
  • Prepare estimates for site change orders and lead schedule updates, short-term planning, and progress reports for the electrical scope.
  • Analyze electrical installation costs and progress, including the analysis of deviations.
Requirements
  • Experience on Canadian construction unionized sites, medium to large size, holding leadership roles within electrical or general contractor performing industrial electrical installation.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in similar role.
  • Proven leadership ability within a team context.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of electrical equipment and Canadian electrical code CSA C22.1.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. French, an asset.
  • Hydro-electric project knowledge, an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team work skills, and autonomy.
  • Ability to multitask and shift between many different projects and initiatives with tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
