Administrative Secretary Role

Ontario Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Direct and control daily operations, including managing budgets and expenditures.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Motivate staff to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies, maintaining inventory, and setting up and maintaining filing systems.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
