Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at WTC TRUCKING BC INC.

Company Overview: Our company prides itself on providing excellent services and ensuring the safe transportation of goods across various locations.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials efficiently.
  • Maintenance: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates as necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safe and secure tarping of cargo during transportation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Hold a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment with regular shifts.
