Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Onyx Stones & Custom Cabinets Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and driving sales growth in our retail business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing sales strategies and product offerings.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implementing pricing and credit policies to maximize revenue.
- Locate and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products meet customer expectations.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Determine staffing requirements and resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Balance daily transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail sales or management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work hours are 40 hours per week.
