As a Project Design Engineering Manager at RES, you'll lead a talented team of civil engineers who deliver design and engineering management services to all markets and technologies within our global network. Your focus will be on adding value and managing risk to drive business growth while ensuring the highest quality support to development, construction, and services teams.

About the Role

The Project Design Engineering Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a holistic and consistent approach to promoting best practice across different markets and technologies. You'll ensure that your team provides effective support in areas such as design and engineering management, safety in design, coordination of engineering governance, and leadership in continuous improvement.

Key to this role is providing and maintaining the capability to deliver engineering solutions that meet our objectives, including a focus on design management and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Your Key Accountabilities
  • Lead a team of civil engineers delivering design and engineering management to meet the safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements of projects and the wider business
  • Ensure team capabilities and resources are managed to meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain team management systems and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with business needs
  • Provide risk mitigation to support effective management of risk exposure across the RES Group
  • Coordinate best practice across markets and business units in the RES Group

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • An understanding of cross-functional project requirements and priorities
