Landscaping Team Lead

The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our landscape construction crew.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of landscape construction professionals, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
- Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate and schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact.
- Schedule Work: Plan and schedule work to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop and manage budgets for projects, ensuring accurate estimates and timely completion.
- Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Lead and manage landscape construction projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including materials used and labor hours.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support project needs.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide expert advice, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily operational plans to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum productivity.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Coordinate Subcontractors' Activities: Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of projects and high-quality results.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.

- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
