Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
  • Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate with clients to plan and execute events, programs, and activities that showcase our landscaping expertise.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop detailed plans and estimates for projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain project records, including labour hours, materials used, and client communications.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order necessary materials and equipment to support project execution.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance to team members to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop daily schedules and task lists to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess project progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate Subcontractor Activities: Work with subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
