Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at CITY FURNITURE (DC) LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales assistants, and design team members, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales staff to duties, order merchandise, and establish work schedules to ensure that the store is always well-stocked and that sales targets are met.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is always up-to-date and that there are no stock shortages.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to management.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
