Business Development Leader for Public Sector

Your Role
You will be responsible for:
- Building and leading a high-performing team of account executives
- Meeting sales KPIs and EBITDA targets
- Understanding and owning the sales management process from opportunity identification to contract closing
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our alliance partners
- Enhancing business relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction
- Creating compelling proposals and leading expansion into new business
- Leading responses to RFS's, RFQ's, RFP's, RFI's, and informal proposal/quotation processes
- Developing account plans and sales strategies to ensure sustainable business growth
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an inside/outside account manager servicing one of the following sectors: Public Sector / Government, Banking / Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Technology / Media / Telecom, Healthcare, and Professional Services
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in the staffing industry or similar experience in outside service sales
- Experience in developing, managing teams of account managers, recruiters
- Previous experience with Government procurement methods and supply arrangements
- Previous experience with cold calling and qualifying opportunities for IT Professional Services
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and with placed IT contractors
- Experience working with ATS/CRM Systems e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Salesforce, Bullhorn, etc.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with and prospect to all levels of management including C-Level, VP's, Senior Managers, and Technology staff
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and consultative selling success
Nice to Have
- Experience with Government procurement methods and supply arrangements
- Experience with the proposal process, RFS-RFP bid preparation
- Familiarity with IT professional staffing pricing and quality assurance on bid responses
- Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset
Salary Range
CAD $75,000.00 – CAD $85,000.00 per year
Plus commissions and bonus plan
