About the Role

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters every time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Sales Results: Consistently meet or exceed sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, and assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
  • Conduct Measurements: Use appropriate optical tools to conduct measurements and consult with Optician as needed.
  • Contribute to a Positive Store Environment: Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
  • Skills: Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills, and the ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills (both oral and written), self-motivation, and the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
