Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Alamos Gold. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a mechanical team and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, communicate, and execute work for assigned mechanical team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices, and hold team members accountable for adherence.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Perform regular workplace inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Report daily work progress and provide updates to management.
  • Collaborate with procurement to purchase equipment and materials for current and future needs.
  • Assist in the hiring process for mechanics and provide input on candidate qualifications.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including time entry, vacation requests, and scheduling.
Requirements
  • Technical training or certification, or Diploma of Collegial Studies.
  • 5-8 years of related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in supervisory roles.
  • Good understanding of applicable legislation and regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate team commitment.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Work Schedule

Rotating schedule: 5 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 5 days off.
