Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team at Alamos Gold, the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile maintenance fleet.

Job Summary:

The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of mechanics to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our mobile equipment. This includes planning and communicating work assignments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and providing guidance and coaching to team members.

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and identify areas for improvement.
  • Report work progress and results to management.
  • Collaborate with procurement to source equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with the hiring and training of new mechanics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, a valid trade certificate, and 5-8 years of experience in a supervisory role. A good understanding of applicable legislation and regulations is also required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
