Job Description for Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The Story Cafe - Eatery & Bar. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning menus and estimating food requirements.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Order supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Own transportation.
