About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Blue Canoe Waterfront Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared to our standards.
  • Monitor inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menu items.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
