Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Assistant to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our staff scheduling department, you will be responsible for assisting clinical units and departments with scheduling and related functions to ensure sufficient staffing levels on a 24-hour basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing functions to support clinical units and departments.
  • Perform extensive staffing and scheduling functions using ESP or other computerized staffing systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service as a direct point of contact for customers via telephone and/or in person.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Utilize Excel and other software applications to manage and analyze data.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience working with ESP or other computerized staffing systems performing extensive staffing and scheduling functions.
  • Customer service experience with a focus on telephone and/or in-person interactions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous staff scheduling experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
