Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at FIRST STEP SERVICES CANADA INC. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our clients. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a chef or in a related role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a busy kitchen environment with a team of cooks and kitchen staff. The work site is a restaurant in an urban area.
