Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at FIRST STEP SERVICES CANADA INC. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food preparation procedures to meet customer demands and quality standards.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure optimal profitability and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve kitchen operations and menu offerings.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a commercial kitchen.
  • Proven track record of managing kitchen operations, leading teams, and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
